I am so very sorry for your loss. Rich was such a funny, inspiring, loving, jovial, amazing person and I was so lucky to know him. Andrew and I are sorry we could not make it to the funeral. We are praying for you family in this terrible time of loss. We love you and are sending lots of hugs your way.

I got to know Rich over the past few years and I have to say that he was always ready to crack a joke or just have some fun. It was an honor to call you a friend. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

I'm so sorry for your families loss. I've known Rich for 38 years. We met at DeVry University where he sat in front of me for my first class. I kept thinking who is this tall skinny hippie looking guy with the long hair and pony tail and what the hell am I doing in this school. At Devry, you start with a set of classmates and you go to every class with those same people(those who make it) until you graduate. Rich, me and a group of close knit people studied together, played together, went to ballgames and hockey games together and became good friends. Rich and I went on to work in the same industry for many years and ultimate partnered in a restaurant on the south side of Chicago. Rich was a great partner, great friend and great father/husband/grandfather. He will be missed!

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss  of your dearly loved one. Please keep in mind the promise Jesus Christ' made at John 11;25 "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me even though he dies will come to life
