    Dear Mike,

It may be 43 years since we sat next to each other in Mrs. Kizarick's class, but I never forgot how you were kind to me and talked about Billy Williams when others bullied me.  Rest in peace kind soul.

    Gratefully, always,

    Mary

Mike was one of my best students at ISU.  He and another student started our Communication Week program which has emerged into one of ISU's biggest events.  Mike was creative and hard working.  He organized groups of students and solved problem.  His leadership skills were obvious.  As you can see, he used those skills to develop a terifffic career.  The world will miss his contributions.  It is a shame that he died at such a young age.  My best wishes to his family and friends.  Professor William Semlak   ISU School of Communication

Mike was a student of mine at ISU.  He and I collaborated on research projects related to improving the instruction of Chicago Police officers.  He was one of the most talented men I had the pleasure of calling my friend.  If he was your friend, you indeed had a true friend who was always there in time of need.  I was in his wedding to Margaret and observed first-hand what a wonderful family of which Mike was a part.  We celebrated our Irish Catholic roots and our common long-time family histories with the Chicago Police Department.  My sympathies go out to Margaret, Katie, and Peter.

My condolences for the loss of your loved one, and may you be comforted by the future promise that Almighty GOD has made to mankind through His written word, the Bible, at Revelation 21: 4, 5.
